Marv Machura has been performing for many years as a singing guitarist, so his repertoire is large, and always changing. Machura is always open to requests and special requests for certain songs for unique events such as weddings, etc. Having been doing this for so many years and so many shows, Machura has a repertoire of over 1000 songs stretching back to Elvis classics like “Hound Dog” and Hank Williams “Jambalaya” and into the 60s with the Beatles “Hey Jude” “Let it Be” onto the 70s with artists like Jim Croce, Neil Young, Neil Diamond, into the 80s with artists such as Garth Brooks, George Strait, Bryan Adams, The Eagles, etc. into the new millennium with covers by artists like Adelle and Ed Sheran. Machura does not perform with a tablet, backing tracks, or lyrics sheets. He believes in doing it the old-school way connecting directly with the song, lyric, and audience. The following is a sampling of cover songs that Machura often presents in his live shows. As you can see, Machura tends to favour singer-songwriters like himself and timeless classics like “American Pie” and “Sweet Caroline” and artists like Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, and Bruce Springsteen, etc…lively songs that nearly everyone knows and loves.
